A little bit about you
At 37 years old, I work as a Master Technician for Peugeot, Vauxhall, and Citroën in South East London. Photography has always been a part of my life, starting with mobile phones and film cameras, but everything changed in 2023 when I bought my first proper camera. Since then, I haven’t been able to put it down.
My passion for motorsport combined with photography—particularly at the racetrack—has become central to my creative journey. Capturing the speed, energy, and atmosphere while creating visual stories brings me genuine joy.
Where did your photography journey start?
My interest in photography began in childhood, experimenting with mobile phones and film cameras. However, it wasn’t until 2023, when I purchased a Canon 90D—which I still use—that I truly fell in love with the craft.
The first time I took it to Brands Hatch, capturing the speed and intensity of the cars, something clicked. From that moment, I knew I had found a passion I wanted to pursue, and I now return to the track whenever I can.
What sort of photography do you do now?
Today, my primary focus is motorsport photography, where I feel most at home. I have also photographed a variety of other events, including Christmas celebrations, charity football matches, and wildlife, demonstrating my versatility and creativity.
What are your other interests?
When I’m not behind the lens, I enjoy drawing, watching films, gaming, and listening to music. These creative outlets not only provide relaxation but also inspire my photography in different ways.
What is your number one goal from doing photography?
My primary goal is simple: to enjoy photography and remain passionate about my craft. In addition, I hope to inspire others, whether by encouraging them to pick up a camera or helping them develop their own photography skills.
What is your dream event to capture?
There are several dream events I would love to shoot, including the World Rally Championship, Formula 1, and Le Mans. Being part of these iconic motorsport moments and documenting them through my lens represents the pinnacle of my photography ambitions.
